Research Studies
In order to provide patients with innovative treatment choices for illnesses that might be challenging to treat, The Interventional Pain and Rehab Center offers a variety of clinical research studies. When a patient feels they have tried every other form of treatment and would not otherwise be able to obtain care with a therapy, they may think about taking part in a research study.
The following research studies are ones in which we are currently involved or have previously participated:
Enrolling Now
Clinical Trial for Bioresorbable Materials in Phase 2: Treatment of Chronic Lumbar Disc Disease (cLDD). The effectiveness and safety of injecting stem cells into lumbar discs that are painful are being examined in this study.
COMFORT 2-The purpose of this post-market research is to compare the safety and efficacy of peripheral nerve stimulation in addition to standard medical care versus standard medical care alone for the treatment of persistent, uncontrollable peripheral neuralgia resulting from trauma or surgery.
Transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation and interferential current were compared to a sham device and standard of care in patients with nonspecific chronic low back pain in ZYNEX Medical’s randomised blinded evaluation.
Intradiscal therapy (VIA Disc NP) is used to treat low back pain associated with degenerative disc degeneration.
Closed To Enrollment
SOLIS Interventional therapy for patients without a history of surgery who suffer from leg or low back pain. The effectiveness and safety of spinal cord stimulation (SCS) for these patients are being examined in this study.
DISCovery is an interventional therapy for people with sciatica or leg pain that involves injecting a novel drug into a herniated disc.
Treatment of Leg Pain This research examines the safety and efficacy of an oral medicine in treating individuals with sciatica, commonly known as lumbosacral radiculopathy, or radiating leg pain.
SAOL is a Phase 2 clinical trial intended for those with osteoarthritis-related persistent knee pain. The safety and effectiveness of an experimental injectable drug are the subjects of this examination.
FAST Interventional therapy for individuals experiencing leg or low back discomfort. For these individuals, the safety and efficacy of a particular form of spinal cord stimulation (SCS) are being examined in this study.
Peripheral nerve stimulation is used in the interventional treatment known as SPRINT to address persistent lower back pain.
